Agreement and eligibility
By accessing or using VowBliz, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you use VowBliz on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for them.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. Wedding guests may view a published site or submit an RSVP without creating an account, but their use of those features is still subject to the relevant parts of these terms.
The VowBliz service
VowBliz allows couples and their collaborators to build schema-driven wedding websites, manage celebration information, upload media, invite collaborators, organize guests, collect RSVPs, export responses, and publish or share selected content.
Templates provide a structured starting point. VowBliz is not a wedding planner, venue, registrar, payment provider, legal adviser, or emergency communication service. You remain responsible for checking important event details and communicating urgent changes directly to guests.
Accounts and security
You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it resulted from a failure by VowBliz to use reasonable safeguards.
You may connect supported social sign-in methods or enable multi-factor authentication. You must not share authenticator codes, recovery information, or private invitation links with anyone who should not have access.
Your content
You retain ownership of the text, photographs, music, documents, links, and other content you submit to VowBliz. You grant VowBliz a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, resize, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, improve, and support the service.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share your content. You must respect copyright, privacy, publicity, and other rights of photographers, musicians, guests, family members, vendors, and third parties.
Publishing a website makes the content selected for that site accessible through its public URL. Review the preview carefully before publishing.
Guest data and invitations
Wedding owners and collaborators are responsible for guest information they add, including names, contact details, event access, dietary requirements, accessibility information, and family or party relationships. You agree to collect and use this information only for legitimate wedding planning and communication purposes and to honor applicable privacy requests.
Invitation links and codes may provide access to personalized RSVP information. You are responsible for sharing them with the intended recipients and replacing or removing access when appropriate. You must not use VowBliz invitations for unsolicited marketing or unrelated bulk messaging.
Publishing and collaboration
The wedding owner controls publication, search-indexing preferences, collaborators, and deletion of the wedding. Collaborators receive the access level shown when they are invited and must use it only to help manage that wedding. Owners are responsible for choosing trustworthy collaborators and reviewing their changes.
VowBliz may provide previews, sharing tools, social links, and QR codes. You are responsible for the destinations and materials you distribute and for testing them before printing or sending them to guests.
Acceptable use
You must not use VowBliz to:
- break the law, facilitate fraud, impersonate another person, or misrepresent an event;
- upload content that is unlawful, abusive, malicious, infringing, or intentionally deceptive;
- harass guests, send spam, scrape personal information, or use guest data for unrelated advertising;
- probe, disrupt, overload, bypass, or interfere with security, access controls, or service infrastructure;
- introduce malware or use automated systems to access the service beyond reasonable, documented functionality; or
- resell, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit VowBliz or its templates except where applicable law expressly permits it.
We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or the service.
Third-party services
VowBliz relies on and may link to third-party services, including authentication providers, hosting and storage infrastructure, email delivery, maps, videos, registries, social networks, and messaging applications. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, transactions, or changes. A link or integration does not imply endorsement, and you should review the provider’s terms before using it.
VowBliz ownership
VowBliz and its licensors retain all rights in the service, software, brand, templates, interface, documentation, and original design elements, excluding your content. These terms do not transfer any VowBliz intellectual-property rights to you.
Feedback may be used to improve VowBliz without obligation to you, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
Service changes and availability
We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features as the product develops. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, provider outages, security events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control may temporarily affect access.
If paid features are introduced, the applicable price, billing period, taxes, renewal rules, and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase. We will not charge you without your authorization.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using VowBliz at any time. Wedding owners can delete weddings, and account holders can request account deletion from Account Settings after deleting weddings they own.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, create security or legal risk, misuse personal information, or threaten the service or other people. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, VowBliz is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that cannot reasonably apply to a developing online service, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the extent permitted by law, VowBliz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, goodwill, data, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
General terms and contact
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your agreement without our permission; VowBliz may transfer it as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, or sale while continuing to protect personal information under the Privacy Policy.
Applicable law governs these terms and any dispute, including mandatory consumer protections available where you live. We may update these terms as the service changes. Material revisions will be identified by a new date and, when appropriate, communicated through VowBliz or by email.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@vowbliz.com.
